i love graphic arts
so i posted about mucha a while back, but i wanted to make sure that i kept posting about graphic arts and illustrations in general. i'm a fan of the works above. they remind me of the type of stuff i used to do before i move into photography. i used to work with ink, charcoal and chalk.
this work above, i pick, because of use of "splattering" ink in combination with fine detailed drawing of faces. (sometimes the faces are harder to see than in others). it's a bit more sophisticated than other stuff since it uses multiple view points in the collage - so the images get to you turned around and take a little time to unravel what all the elements are and how they're interacting.
i definitely don't want to get too artsy fartsy, so i'll end by saying i think the stuff is really radical. yeah, sweet.
