so i don't know much about this first hand since i don't have a baby. and none of my close friends have baby blogs, but baby blogs are the new big thing these days.
as my roommate C, who loves his niece-in-law's baby blog, put it it's a great way for the family to share information with friends and extended family. people can opt in and the parents don't have to worry if they've forgotten to share with someone.
and i guess as our generation who use the internet a lot more and many use rss readers on a daily basis (i go through serious withdrawal if i don't use my bloglines), it makes sense to use a blog.
and doing a little google leg work again, it turns out babies are a big eff'ing deal. there are sites for how to help you start your baby blog. a billion and one celebrity baby blogs (all unauthorized of course).
i'm curious to know if this will really take hold for our generation. and all kids will have their early years captured in the cloud for our google overlords to hold forever.
