- the first came a year after finishing college when i was still in korea. it served as a make-shift journal to share with friends but since i hosted and created the entire website, it became to cumbersome to maintain once i started working. hopefully this will be easier.
- the second came when a few years ago when tumblr came out. it was supposed to be an easier way to blog (when blogging was starting to get really hot, but before people were really using rss feeders). but i never wrote more than 5 posts only because i couldn't think of what to write at the time. all i did was work and that was of interest to no one. you can trust me on that.
einstein said that after a while only reading will not be enough, that you must put your brain to more active use - to think instead of constantly absorbing. this is one of my attempts to do some thinking. (to put it in perspective, i currently read 217 blogs on a daily basis, i should be able to post something of interest at least once in a while right?)
and while i'm sure no one is asking, i still use bloglines to read my blogs. i've tried to migrate to google reader or netvibes, but they just aren't doing it for me. i'm also an avid opera user... i know what you're thinking, "why do you always go with the weird options?!" but i'll get to that question another time.
*update*
on slow days, i'll be posting old blogs i've written ages ago and taken down. i hope to keep them untouched, if only for the comedy factor of reading my ramblings from ages ago. i'll also try to find my emails from my travels, which are mostly entertaining.
